Sojubar opens new restaurant in Sijthoff City in The Hague
SOJUBAR has signed a long-term lease agreement for a restaurant measuring approximately 563 m² in the iconic Sijthoff City building, located at Grote Marktstraat 37 in The Hague. Deka Immobilien, landlord, was advised on this transaction by Adhoc horecamakelaars, in collaboration with CBRE Leasing.
SOJUBAR is known for its Korean fried chicken, beer and of course soju. The chain was already established in all other major cities and The Hague was high on its wish list. The restaurant is located in a prime location in the city centre of The Hague, near the political centre, The Hague New Centre and the Wijnhavenkwartier. The location is easily accessible for pedestrians, cyclists and public transport users. In addition, nearby car parks offer ample parking facilities. Sijthoff City is a sustainable, architecturally striking building, recognisable by the twelve bronze storks on the façade over five metres high, which symbolise the city of The Hague. In addition to retail and office space, the complex also features an Inner courtyard/garden, a heat and cold storage system, is energy efficient and can be flexibly configured. The complex has also been awarded the BREEAM-NL design certificate “Very Good”.
